VISUAL LANDSCAPES

A major component of the Ireland Study Abroad 2014 experience was keeping a journal, a visual journal that is. As students, as well as travelers, we collected scraps, newspapers, pamphlets, feathers, leaves, flowers, or anything else we could get our hand on that represented our adventures each day. What resulted were 19 art sketchbooks full of pages upon pages of expertly crafted memories unique to each person's time on the island. Below I have posted my journal, some single pages along with some double-page photos if the two formed one cohesive piece. Although it was tough to keep up with an art journal during our jam-packed trip, I am so happy to have it as a keepsake to look at and remember the sublime things I saw in Ireland during the summer. Scroll through the pages using the white arrows to either side of the thumbnails. You can also expand the image by clicking the photo and pause the slide show by clicking the the pause button on the bottom right-hand side of the image.
